Luckily my Daddy was there to save me and fix up my arm with a wave of his wand, but to this day I won't go near a broom and keep my feet firmly on the ground."
patronus: "i was thirteen and he was fifteen, and we had just taken a walk along the lake. i'd never been a fan of fairy tales but at that moment i felt like i was more in one then ever before. our walk just wrapped up and we were at the moving stair case about to go our separate ways and he kissed me. my very first kiss. it was soft and sweet and full of romance, or as much romance as two kids could have. of course we ended a short week later, but i still carry it around with me, waiting for one to top it. my patronus is a dove."

overall history: The awkward pair of Hannah and Neville were a pair to be reckoned with in their school days. With countless years together, it was almost funny how they blossomed together. Hannah’s parents could only pretend to be in shock as the two finally found themselves together as a couple. When their years at the school ended, the couple found themselves settling down, and when things found a way of working, Neville proposed to Hannah. After the two had a joyful wedding, they settled down in their home, which stayed in close proximity of the school they attended as children. When the time was right they thought of children, and when the thought was processed, they came up nine months late with little their oldest son, ---- ----. Three years later came their oldest daughter, ----- ----. They continued to grow and develop as a family and eventually they decided to add some more members to their four person family. That's when Ava Elosie was born.
Born on a warm spring afternoon, to Neville and Hannah was Ava Eloise, the second daughter and soon to be middle child of the family. When they brought the baby home for the first time, the young and happy couples were thrilled to have another baby girl, and the first few months went by rather quickly, as they taught the young girl of there’s a bunch of things she needed. She wasn’t ever a picky eater, taking whatever it was her mother gave her, and from the moment the girl could talk, you knew she was different. She became rather fluent by the age of two, sure she stumbled and messed up, but she was quick at learning the things in which she needed. When she was one and a half her mother gave birth to a second boy, --- --- and then a year later, ava once again had another baby sister, jamie.
with so many longbottoms running about it's a shock that one wasn't misplaced! ava had always tried to fit in with her older siblings, --- and --- always seemed so cool to her. her sister had the best clothes, (which ava was constantly getting in trouble from "borrowing") and her brother was a tough quidditch player, so when they went off to hogwarts, ava could only look at her two younger siblings and sigh. compared to her older siblings, --- and jamie were babies. so ava seemed to become a bit more independent. she would go off into the yard and read up on a new book her mother had gotten her or write some of her lessons from her school book. having always known she was a witch, she never paid much attention to muggle school, but when she got her letter to hogwarts, school became top priority, which was why she was sorted into ravenclaw.

role play sample:Her thoughts seemed to scatter as she stepped into the cool, yet calming, September air. The weather had just the affect she hoped for when she planned to leave the Ravenclaw tower for a much needed breather. The girl, although only a sixth year, had plenty on her mind, so much, in fact, that she could hardly concentrate to her friends as they talked to her in class, or out in the corridors when she had to slide by people in order to avoid getting hit. Juliet didn't know why so much was on her mind, all she knew was that there was plenty. There were guys, one in particular, that was constantly on her mind, parties that she would have to attend due to a good ol' slytherin friend, friends she needed to by gifts for, her family, and of course school work was on the studious Ravenclaw's mind. She only had two years to prove herself academically before she had to prove herself in the real world and while she knew she succeeded quite well in her first five years it was usually the last two that were the most important and above all else Juliet wasn't sure what she wanted to do with the rest of her life!
She figured it would be within the hospital as a healer, but she wasn't fully decided, after all she could change her mind in two years and become a bum on the street! Nah, if she changed her idea on her career it wouldn't be that drastic- if anything she'd move within the ministry walls as a lawyer or defender of some sort. She had high ambitions for herself, the only thing that separated her from being a Slytherin (aside from her much wittier brain), was that her ambition wasn't used to step on other people's chances. She figured she could do something in the profession of teaching as well, after all she had a lot of information in that pretty little head of hers and she might as well put it to good use. What better way to do that then by helping people? She wasn't sure on a subject, as it wasn't her first choice of profession, but she'd certainly put more thought into the idea come seventh year. However as she walked through the corridors to get to her destination of the courtyards, she couldn't help but ease those thoughts from her mind and carry a smile on her lips.
In her hands was a book that had once been her mothers. Being the half-blood that she was meant that muggle stories were apart of her daily life as a child. Her mother had told her fairy tales since she was a little girl- some about princesses in far away castles, others about knights who rescued the girl, some were love stories tat Juliet got carried away in, but as she started growing up and began reading on her own, it was Jane Austin that had caught her attention in her mother's study. Bound in leather covers, with only the title as the cover was the first thing that had drawn her in. After all a good story didn't need anything flashy to draw you in, and Jane Austin had made her stories simple to the eyes. The old English had been long and boring the first time she'd read it, but her copies of Pride and Prejudice and Sense and Sensibility, although having been worn down from her reading, stood strong in her mind and binding.
It was Pride and Prejudice that was in her hands on this fine Thursday afternoon. She was on break from classes, and Juliet wanted to catch up on some time to read and just relax. The courtyard, although it had people in it, still was still composed as a relaxing atmosphere. It was the courtyard that her social life truly began, what was weird was that she hadn't exactly planned to be there. Juliet had been out doing homework when a certain Hufflepuff dropped into her life and soon after took up a big part of it. In with Nick came a big group of other students their age that truly brought a bit of life out of the shy Ravenclaw. She'd grown close with all of them and couldn't see her life without them. Who would have thought that it would be the courtyard she'd call her favorite place. It hardly matter and as she sat on a stone bench, her Ravenclaw robes nicely pressed to her body, she hardly seemed to care that her life wasn't as extravagant as some of the characters in her books.
