overall history: Sophia Lixue Lock was born on a cold, dreary night, at exactly midnight. The first child to her parents, she was spoiled, very spoiled, and it taught her one thing; if she wanted something, she didn't need to try and get it, she just had to ask someone, and the best person to ask was her family. Sophia loved her family, and she loved what she got from then, but then her younger sister was born.
It was fine for the first couple of years, but then Sophia realized something. Her sister was the one getting all the attention and the one getting all the new things. Sophia wasn't ignored, but she didn't get as much as she'd have liked. This was unfair to her parents, as she'd just been bought a broom, and new robes and everything else she wanted, but it wasn't enough, not for Sophia Lock. She decided she hated her parents, who were already becoming snappy and loud with her.
When Sophia got her Hogwarts letter, she was very excited. The idea of leaving her whiny little sister and snappy mother and father was exhilarating, and she needed to get her books and robes straight away, despite the fact she wouldn't be going for another month or two. When she did leave, she was hasty to say goodbye to her family, and her broom, which she wasn't allowed to take in for another year.
When she got there, she waited to be sorted. That was a worrying moment, as she feared she wouldn't be sorted into the house she wanted. But when the hat was placed on her head, it didn't take long for the old sorting hat to call out Slytherin! She rushed over to the table, a grin on her face. Everything was going fine. In her second year, she became part of the Quidditch Team, and she still is.
Things were normal for her. She had some friends, and a couple of boyfriends along the way. Sophia passed her O.W.L's with eight Outstanding's, which was a very big achievement for her. She's getting ready to study for her N.E.W.T's, and hoping to pass those too. But at the moment, her biggest ambition is to become a Death Eater, something people in her family had been doing years before.

role play sample:When coffee was on your mind, and you wanted to get some, you just had to. Of course, it was hard to go to the Café when you couldn't find any money, even though there was plenty scattered around the house somewhere. It was a very annoying problem, and Skye was currently experiencing it. She was running around her apartment - literally running - and as her dark hair flew in front of her face, it was even harder to see anything. It took her a while to remember that she'd put most of her money into the dress she wore yesterday, but eventually did, and went flying off to her bedroom. It was a very messy bedroom, but a nice one too, and Skye loved it, the blue and white sheets, and the white walls, and the blue floor, and the books and albums strewn across the floor. Or at least sometimes she loved the stuff on the, because as she was just such a clutz, she tripped straight over a pile of books, and went tumbling over, landing with a thump on the floor. She groaned, as she reached for the white and pink dress on the carpet, and stuck her hand into the pocket. She fished around for a bit, and with a jangle, she pulled out a handful of coins.
Sighing with relief, the twenty-one year old left the room, and walked down the cream colored stairs, high heels tapping loudly along the floor. Humming a tune mindlessly to herself, she walked down the street, thinking of chords that would sound nice together. Skye had been able to play the guitar for about eight or nine years now, and she spent a lot of her time doing it. Rather than getting a job. Though she hoped that her job could be a guitarist in a bad or something. It was an ambition that she was yet to fulfill, becoming famous. Of course, she had others, like any other young woman, but that was her main one, and it was almost always playing on her mind. For now though, the only thing playing on her mind was a hot cup of coffee, steaming and warm and... it'd be heaven. On Earth, mind, she wasn't about to die, even if it was for a cup of coffee, she had to be well-known before that happened.
As she walked into the Café, she breathed in the smell of coffee and the clinking of spoons and the crunch of the sugar and... She rushed to the counter, almost tripping over her own feet. Honestly, she'd be up the hospital by the end of the day! She ordered a cup of black coffee, just a simple drink, but nice one all the same. She said thank-you as she was passed the hot cup, and looked around for a table. There weren't any, apart from a couple outside. She shrugged, and walked along, just to trip a dog's paw or tail or whatever it was. She spilt some coffee on the floor, but that was the least of her worries. "Oh! D'you think it's alright?" she asked the owner, concerned. Dogs were one of Skye's favorite animals, and it'd be hard for her to bare if she hurt one. "You're cute though, aren't you?" she said to the dog, ruffling it's head with her free hand, this time holding the coffee away from the dog.
