Aaron ran his hand through his hair in frustration, glaring down at the Potions book in his lap. Why did their teacher have to set huge amounts of homework that always ended up being put off somehow? Personally, Aaron blamed his friends for his procrastination. He would have finished the homework by know if he wasn't always getting pulled away by his friends to do something more fun. Of course, he was inherently a procrastinator so he had no doubt he would have been scrambling to finish it now even if his friends hadn't pulled him away. But who was he to pass up a perfectly good excuse.
Sighing hugely, the teen leaned back in his comfortable plush chair in the Slytherin Common Room. There weren't many people down yet; it was Sunday morning and the students of Hogwarts wanted to lie in. Aaron couldn't blame them; he would be in bed if it wasn't for this stupid essay. Grumbling under his breath, the teen leaned forward and continued scratching out his essay. About half an hour passed before Aaron leaned back once more, a relieved and pleases grin on his face. He had finally finished his blasted homework! Feeling the need to celebrate with someone, he hurriedly packed his books away.
The now excited young wizard snatched up his bag and bounded up to his dorm room, entering quietly. He didn't really fancy waking any of the other boys, knowing they could be quite grumpy in the morning. Aaron shuffled around cautiously, putting his books, essay and bag back to their normal place. That is, in a pile next to his bed. He shimmied out of his pajamas before slipping on a pair of Muggle ripped jeans and a plain black top. Stretching and yawning, Aaron ruffled his curly hair before collapsing onto his bed. He peered over at Scorpius' bed and grinned when he saw the bed was empty. Launching himself off of his bed, Aaron scrambled out of the dorm and down into the Common Room, searching for his close friend eagerly.

with a fire in my bones and the sweet taste of kerosene, i get so lost in the night so high i don't want to come down to face the loss of the good thing that i've found. Scorpius was most certainly a morning person. To some this may seem to be a strange but true fact. Despite the parties the Slytherin prefect attended and those late-nights studying, wandering, or lying in bed not sleeping, Scorpius's internal clock had him rise with the sun. It actually required more work on Scorpius's part to try and force himself to sleep in (although a heavy dose of alcohol usually helps). Scorpius rose this morning with much on his mind; schoolwork was always tedious and time consuming, the aid of some helpful study buddies could alleviate that pressure, however. Prefect duties never ended, Scorpius was sworn to a life of perpetual responsibility, which on the positive side meant perpetual power, so Scorpius couldn't really complain about that either. In fact, Scorpius was hoping to indulge in one of the many benefits befitted to prefects of Hogwarts: the prefect's bath. And on this beautiful Sunday morning in May, Scorpius was hoping that his fellow prefects weren't early risers to beat him to the private porcelain sanctuary.
With a plush white towel resting over his shoulder, Scorpius was currently in the restroom adjacent to his dorm. Of course he'd save the actual bathing for the prefect's bathroom, but that didn't stop Scorpius from conducting his normal morning regime. Since school robes were not compulsory on Sunday, Scorpius was instead wearing a light white Henley rolled up to his elbows matched with his black school slacks. Seeing as he was only trotting over to the prefect's bathroom to take off his clothes, he didn't feel the need to dress as conservatively as usual. To catch Scorpius looking disheveled was more rare than having one's fortune told by a centaur. Image was everything, especially in the case of Scorpius Malfoy, who had more than just a physical image to upkeep. He was a prefect: studious, accountable, an icon really of the Slytherin house he portrayed. Even within his own common room, certain qualities and actions were expected by the Malfoy heir, and he'd be the fool to not give what the crowd expects.
Just as Scorpius was rinsing his mouth of toothpaste, he heard the sound of movement and life in the dorm room. Shocked that one of his dorm mates actually woke before eleven voluntarily, he decided to investigate. Who knows? Maybe he'd catch one of them trying to sneak back in after a long night -- or maybe find who was trying to leave so early in the morning. Using his towel to pat his face dry, Scorpius then hung up his razor and toothbrush and exited the restroom. Aaron Greyback was there, surprisingly dressed from the day (to be honest he was expecting less clothes and more dishevelment). "A bit early for your blood, isn't it?" Scorpius asked casually although slightly quieted as to not stir his dorm mates. Of course Scorpius did not mind the company. In fact, Aaron would have to be the top choice amongst the men within the sixth year male dorm. Aaron Greyback and Scorpius Malfoy just seem to go together quite well, very much like peas and carrots. "Any particular reason you're getting dressed this early, Aaron?" Scorpius then asked, a hint of curiousness in his tone. Aaron Greyback was a seeker, popularity was therefore inevitable. So, in the case that Scorpius ever felt out of the loop, Aaron would most usually be able to fill in the blanks.
