"So you said you had something to say when we got our Butterbeers?"
Celeste didn't know if she should actually tell him. "Well," she said "After I graduate, the orphanage losers said that I can go...like, leave them. I already found a house that I'm looking to buy...I have enough money, of course, because I've been saving up for that since I was seven." that was the total and honest truth. Celeste had been saving her money since she was seven. She had always been eyeing that little house. "So I guess I'll be able to go around a lot more." she finally concluded

"You want to go to the dance with me?"
Celeste got all choked up there for a few seconds. "Sure!" she said with enthusiasm "I mean, uh...yeah, totally..." she said a lot more casually. Her heart "skipped a beat" as they say. She was going to the dance with Vincent!!!!!! She kind of wanted to jump around a lot for a few minutes but that didn't matter. She had to keep cool.

"We can go to Honeydukes after this. We can get some candy today. Whatever we don't eat now, we can save for later."
Celeste agreed with a simple "Mkay."

"Oh, that is good you have money for a place to stay. Not many people think to save their money to get them started when they get out of Hogwarts; especially at seven. It's smart." Then again, most people weren't in her position. She lived in an Orphanage and technically had no place to go after she graduated. "With or without that money, you can stay at my house until you get that place you have your eye on. Sometimes, it takes a while before people get approved for things. Not saying it's going to take you forever to get it, it is just depending on who is selling the house. Where is the house anyway? I bet you picked a good house." He knew she made a lot of good choices with a lot of things, so he didn't question the situation that much.

He had heard her agree to go to the ball with him. He had smiled, going a little red, lifting his glass up. "Shall we toast to a good evening at the ball then? The Head Boy will be showing up with a lovely and beautiful lady while groups of our peers will chatter on about us." He had looked over to the group of chattering students that they have passed earlier and looked back. "Who cares what they think, though. What matters is the fact that we will have a good time and leave them with more to talk about."

He had taken a drink of his butterbeer and placed it back down on the table. He had ran his finger over the brim of the cup that his butterbeer was in until he had heard a table crashing to the ground in the background. He had looked over to see that it had been flipped by one of the chatters in the gossip group. He had heard her scream out "THE HEAD BOY IS TAKING WHO TO THE BALL?

Vince turned to face Celeste again and said "Opps? I think we should finish up here and take off to Honeydukes. I don't want any trouble and she needs to calm down and learn that I can't please everyone. I will go to that damned ball with whoever I want. I am going with you."

Celeste nodded a bit "Thanks." she said, taking a careful sip of butterbeer. That was Celeste. Always being careful, very precise. She was sure that Vince and his family would accept her to temporarily live with them until she picked out the house "It's in Ottery St. Catchpole." she said "I heard that a lot of wizarding families go there to live."

"Shall we toast to a good evening at the ball then? The Head Boy will be showing up with a lovely and beautiful lady while groups of our peers will chatter on about us."

Celeste nodded "Most certainly." she agreed. That's when Little Miss Gossip burst out in a screech of disbelief. Celeste made a "Pssh." said with a slight chuckle. "Oh...eavesdrop much?" she said to the girl

"Oops? I think we should finish up here and take off to Honeydukes. I don't want any trouble and she needs to calm down and learn that I can't please everyone. I will go to that damned ball with whoever I want. I am going with you."

"I thought so." she said confidently. She shot Little Miss Gossip a look that said "Yeah, I'm his so shut up and continue gossiping about how clumsy Professor Longbottom is". Nice look. Celeste smiled back at Vincent.
