father: Harry Potter, 34, deceased
mother: Ginevra Potter-Weasley, 33, deceased
siblings: James Sirius Potter, 17, Gryffindor and Albus Severus Potter, 16, Ravenclaw
others: The entire Weasley clan.
overall history: Lily was a welcome surprise to the Potter and Weasley family. Her parents hadn't planned on having her, but they never regretted it. She was a week early, going by her due date, and it was a relatively easy birth. Her parent's were delighted to have a girl and she was showered with love from the moment she was born. Lily quickly became a Daddy's Girl and she knew how to get what she wanted from Harry. Her brother's doted on her and she quickly b became a great source of interest to them as soon as the discovered she could charm their dad into giving them dessert before dinner.
Lily was never treated like the dreaded girl and her brother's included her in all their games and never commented when she declared she wasn't going to be the damsel in distress, but an Auror coming to the rescue as well. She was a bubbly child, always laughing and smiling. She was very energetic and playful and very rarely threw tantrums. She loves being a part of such a large family because it means having more people to go to, and also more presents, though she keeps that to herself. Lily hates being fussed over and sheltered, though, so she'd often squirm away from the famous Molly Weasley bear hug. She hated being left out of conversations because she was 'too little' and strove to prove people wrong.
When she was told of her parent's death, Lily changed. She went from being a constantly happy, bright girl to a quiet, stoic young woman. She went into a deep depression in the months following her parents death and very rarely spoke to anyone. Hogwarts quickly became her escape and she loves the castle dearly because of it. Gradually, as Lily came to accept her parent's death, she started acting more like she was before. She can still be quite sad and silent sometimes, but these instances are becoming fewer and far between. She doubts she'll ever really be the same, but thinks that's a good thing. Lily thinks she was too innocent and naive to the way of the world, but now she's not and she's ready to fight with everything she has.

role play sample:Rhosyn was bored. While not exactly a new feeling, she never handled it very well and often ended up doing something ridiculous, like going bungee jumping without the harness. Admittedly, it had been fun but not something she was going to do again. After all, she was never big on repetition. Sighing to herself, the vampire walked out of the living room she was inhabiting and into the hallway. She walked over to the old oak door, snatching up her keys from the side table and clenching them tightly in her hand. She eyed the numerous jackets hanging on the coat hooks before picking her usual, trusty leather jacket. She slipped it on and then opened the door, shutting and locking it behind her.
Stuffing the keys into her jean pocket, Rhosyn meandered slowly down the path to the street. Gnawing on her lip, she wondered where she should go. She didn't fancy going anywhere far, so it had to be in Mystic Falls. She didn't particularly want to stumble upon a group of teens high on drugs, so a walk around the forest was out of the question. Somewhere in town, then. The Grill sounded like a good idea. Decision made, Rhosyn started walking the familiar path to Mystic Falls' town center.
As she walked, Rhosyn briefly considered what had brought her to Mystic Falls. For almost her entire nearly 400 years of life as a vampire, she had been traveling the world without a companion. She had never given thought to settling down; she had always been a free spirit and that had amplified after she was turned. Of course, she was also distracting herself from the guilt of killing her brother. So maybe she wasn't a traveler, maybe she was just running from a past with too many dark times and not enough good ones. Yeah, that sounded about right.
Sighing morosely, Rhosyn shoved the thoughts to the furthers pits of her mind and forced an easy smile on her face. She always, always had to keep up her facade. Letting it fall would bring too many questions, because letting her act dissolve was the same as screaming to the world that something was very wrong with her. And that, right there, was completely unacceptable. It was the reason she didn't have many real friends. She couldn't be honest with them about her life, about her very nature, but expected honesty back? No, that was hypocritical and Rhosyn refused to be a hypocrite. Sighing once more, she again shoved the thoughts away and walked into the Grill.
It was packed with teens, half of them drunk and the other half acting like it. Rhosyn wrinkled her nose ever so slightly as she side-stepped a lumbering football player who looked like he was going to be sick. Ugh, no wonder adults are always moaning about teens, she thought as the adults conversation reached her ears. Shaking her head ever so slightly, Rhosyn strode up to the bar and asked for a vodka and coke. The bartender didn't mention her age and she assumed he was the one selling beer to the numerous drunken, hormonal balls that were the teens in the room. Smiling when he handed her her drink, Rhosyn gave him the money and wandered off to lean against the wall near the pool table.
There was a boy there, playing a game by himself. He has nice arms, she noted idly, sipping her drink as she leaned casually against the wall. There was something almost familiar about him, though she was sure she had never met the guy. No, something about his mannerisms, the way he held himself. Almost as if he was holding something back. It took her a moment to realize it was how she had acted in the first few weeks after change. So, he was a vampire then. Quite a new one, evidently. She tilted her head to the side and let her hair cascade over her shoulder. She righted herself when the boy looked up, eyes roving around the Grill. She assumed he was looking for a partner to play with. Pushing away from the wall, Rhosyn set her drink down on a nearby table and walked up to him.
"Mind if I join?" she queried, a friendly smile on her face.
