dislikes: over crowding, chaos, conflict, death, being bored, lack of materials, dull students, failure, committment, obsession, his OCD.

dementor: Arthur's worst fear is that he'll never be able to break out of the rutt of his OCD and that eventually it'll take over his life regardless of his attempts to prevent it.
patronus: His best memory is of his first trip into the rare books collection of the library. He's a studious person who loves rare artifacts and though he wasn't technically allowed in the section he wasn't caught either. Form is an Owl.

father: Cameron Fontaine, 64, shopowner, wizard
mother: Lea (Preston) Fontaine, 58, seamstress, muggle
siblings: Toni Anne Fontaine, 29, former Slytherin
Wesley Marc Fontaine, 24, muggle
others: N/A
overall history: Arthur was the middle child born into the Fontaine family. And with being a halfblood he was always horrified that his mother would leave because of what their father was and what perhaps their children could grown up to be. Of course, this fear was one that never came to happen so he was one of the lucky ones who got to keep his parents despite their blood line and magical ability. They weren’t all lucky though and his younger sibling didn’t get any of the talents that him and his sister did. He was born a muggle and cursed to live forever in the shadow of his older siblings.
Growing up was a challenge for their family because of this. It meant that Arthur and his sister Toni got a lot of time with their father while their younger brother Wesley had to spend all of his time with their mother. They never really managed to bridge this gap and it ended up being Arthur and Toni that depended upon each other. Toni went off to Howgwarts though and soon it was just Artie and Wes doomed to spend every day together. It was this that actually cause Arthur to look down a bit upon muggles and he knew without a doubt that was why his sister had a purist way of thinking.
Needless to say Arthur couldn’t have been happier when he received his letter and got to escape to Hogwarts. It was his break away from the insanely muggle household that they were forced to live in because of his mother and brother. It also gave him the chance to interact with others like himself and form bonds with other wizarding children. The years seemed to pass quickly because here he was allowed to do things that he wished and being a wizard was definitely the one thing he had always wanted. But when it came time to leave, Arthur couldn’t actually bring himself to do it.
After graduating from Hogwarts him and his sister went their separate ways though they still keep in touch. She went to do things that she considered great while he couldn’t bring himself to leave his beloved home of Hogwarts. Arthur latched on and became the only thing that he knew how to be. He became a teacher at Hogwarts when he was twenty-two and hasn’t left since, being entirely in love with his job. He did travel with his sister before signing on at the school but it always had a strong pull on him so he knew he’d come back in the end.

role play sample:Nikolai shuffled his way through the school slowly. It always seemed like when he came through here there was always some junior to pick on him. It always seemed as if they were the ones with the power around the place instead of seniors like him. Of course, the roof was the one place that he could be closest to the sky without having to be in one of the richer buildings downtown. Generally he couldn’t sneak into those places as it was and the school was actually pretty east to break into, especially if you had the practice. Even if he ran into anyone at this point he was pretty sure that he was just going to tell them to shove off. They’d just have to get over it because he wasn’t going to be stopped and he certainly wasn’t going to be told to go away.
There was more than one way out onto the roof but of course, Nikolai like to be complicated. His favorite way was the window, which led out onto the old fire escape. And this way it save him from having to break through another lock and climb up there. He stopped in front of it and looked down the hall he had just walked through. There wasn’t any one around to give him hell and a grin lifted the corners of his lips. Nicky unlocked the window’s latch before he pushed it open. Worse that would happen to him tonight was him getting locked out on the roof and honestly that wouldn’t be all that bad if it didn’t rain. But his luck was that it would rain if he got locked outside. A slight frown settled over his features but he shrugged and climbed out the window any way.
The roof sloped downward here and there was a shocking scene of greenery and hard ground below that would crush him no doubt if he fell. He wasn’t even sure that he would be able to grab onto anything on the way down to try to lessen the blow or stop it completely. Of course, if he fell he was sure as hell going to test it out because he had no desire falling all that way without it. His body was far too frail and he knew it all too well. A soft sigh slipped through his lips as he edged along the roof until he got to the spot that dropped down and then evened out enough where it could actually almost be considered flat.
Nikolai slid the few feet down the slope to the flattest part of the roof. He grinned broadly at himself before he slowly knelt down and then laid back. He stretched with his arms over head for a moment, giving a tiny moan as he did so before he released and relaxed his muscles. Nicky let out a content sigh and looked up at the sky. Stars. There was nothing better than laying up here at night and just drifting while you stared at the stars. And this was one of the few places in the entire city he’d be able to find that stars were visible. Usually you had to go further out but here you could catch a few here and there. It was pleasant and actually quite enjoyable.
Nicky shifted and dug around in his pockets for a moment before he produced a pack of cigarettes. The pack was crinkled and sort of smashed but the lighter and cigarette he pushed out of the empty pack were almost perfect. He placed the cigarette against his lips and quickly flicked his lighter to life. He inhaled as he held the flame to the tip, and smoke rolled out of his mouth as the end of the cigarette flared to the life. He shoved the lighter pack into the pack and then stuffed the pack back into his pocket, inhaling occasionally on the death at his lips.
