overall history:
born to remus and nyphadora lupin on april 25, 1998, theodore remus lupin was always a very happy baby. he inherited his mother's metamorphagus abilities and his hair usually stayed a tealish turquoise blue color. and before he was even a month old, his parents died in the battle at hogwarts on may 2nd, 1998. while the battle was going on, teddy stayed at his nanny andromeda's house, playing happily, expecting mummy and daddy to come home, but that never happened. teddy didn't realize that mummy and daddy weren't coming home until two days later. the young baby wouldn't stop crying and whining. you would think that a child - or baby, rather- that young would understand, but they could feel it.
as teddy grew older he spent more and more times over the potters and the weasley residences. he almost spent more time over his godfather's house then he did at home. he loved playing with the bbaby james when he was 8. of course, he couldn't do much with the newborn, but he loved holding him and teasing the child. he was like a big brother. and as the child grew up a bit, tedd could play more and more with him, he was also able to teach the child mischief and pranks. he loved having a buddy to play around with. and as the weasley family grew, the more friends and playmates the young lupin acquired.
on the 25th of april on the year teddy turned eleven, he recieved his hogwarts acceptance letter. overjoyed and excited, the young mister lupin practically ran around the house yelling. he knew that this meant that his life would pretty much begin now. it would be spent at hogwarts for the next seven years, aside from summer and holiday breaks. he was so excited he could barely keep himself contained. and when he went to diagon alley to get his school supplies, no one could stop the young boy's smile and hair from changing from purple to teal to red to brown and back again.
on the train ride to hogwarts, teddy sat with people that he would later call his best friends. all of them would end up in different houses, but they vowed to stay friends no matter what the outcome of their sorting was. and walking into that great hall for the first teddy was amazed and excited. they called the children all in alphabetical order, so teddy was one of the middle kids to be sorted. "LUPIN, THEODORE!" the professor called out and ted took his first steps to the stool to recieve his destiny. the hat seemed to be stuck between putting him in hufflepuff or gryffindor. voicing out loud the difficulty of its decision, it eventually yelled "GRYFFINDOR" with its voice echoing throughout the entire hall. and teddy was very happy, practically skipping his way to the gryffindor table. he was congratulated by his house as braced himself for the next seven years.
teddy was studious his first two years at hogwarts, always doing his homework before playing and getting all of his work done, but once he was in his third year, he began to slack and turn more towards pranking and goofing off. surely, he still did much of his school work, but he wasn't as obsessive over it as he was at the ages of eleven and twelve. in his fourth year he tried out for the quidditch team as the chaser, but made the team in his fifth year. he loved the sport as a child, but being able to play on an organized team was awesome. as a fifth year, ted wanted to be a pro quidditch player, but later in his sixth year he realized that that was unreasonable and decided on a career as an auror.
he still is a lazy, procrastinator, but he does his work seriously when it comes to his journey to become an auror. he still loves quidditch greatly, but he wants to play it only for fun. he's living his life to its fullest and trying to have the life that his parents would have wanted him to.

role play sample:bringing himself to sit upright he rubbed the sleep out of his eyes and those 'eye-boogers' are hanging out in the inner-corner of his eye. and now that he was actually awake he could concentrate and respond in a way that actually makes sense. "i did charms at lunch!" he defended himself. he wasn't really studious or grade obsessive, but he did agree that it made sense to do work in free time so he wouldn't have to do it later. of course, that took him six years to figure out, but better late then never. "as well as goof off with james" he mumbled, putting his head down a bit. sure, he did homework at lunch, but it was pretty half-assed and probably half wrong. the good thing about most homework is it wasn't graded. homework was for learning, essays and tests were for grades. he looked at lily in her brown eyes. she was pretty grown up for only being a fourth year, or well she acted it. no matter how much she acted it, though, she was always going to be little lily luna potter to ted. "i respect you, lillian..do i not?" of course, that wasn't her name, but he often called her lillian to make her name seem longer. and he had a name like theodore that she could call him, why couldn't he give her a name like lillian?
it seemed like the fat lady got bitchier every so often, as if she was on her time of the month. she would change passwords at random times or even just not let you in because "she heard what you did last summer". he heard a conversation going on between a few sixth years that came in she must be on her period or something one complained i know, its like shes beginning to hate us another agreed. it went on until the third interrupted and defended maybe she's just on edge or stressed... can talking paintings get stressed? it was amusing to hear people complain about things that go on. teddy's practically made a game of it. sometimes he adds a little american or posh accent to them and replay them in his head. yeah, lame but that was purely teddy lupin putting his own twist and humor into things.
there were so many weasleys and potters. there was victorie, dominique, louis, molly, lucy, rose, hugo, lily, james, albus, roxie, fred, and all of charlie's kids. each of them got along, but also fought, each of them were one family but they ran with different crowds. teddy would always be forever grateful for being included and practically being a member of the family. he's the oldest of them all and looked at all of them like his children, too. he looked out for them and made sure that no true harm came their way and teddy hoped that they all felt like they could go to him for anything. he hoped. dani was like the mother, he was like the father and james was like teddy's twin brother. lily acted like his little girl. if they were younger and decided to play house, it'd be a blast. and everyone would settle into their parts almost instantly perfectly. it would be something that muggles would videotape and keep for memories.
there was a short not awkward, but comfortable silence between the two. ted didnt think he's ever gone through an awkward silence with the little potter girl. they were so familiar with one another that he could say the stupidest thing and he wouldn't feel weird about it. because she would shoot right back with an equally strange thing back. he asked her how she was doing, and she was pretty good, besides trying to talk to al without getting made fun of. she asked the same question back and he answered "well, tell me whos making fun of you or al, we can get all them weasleys and me on their ass." he wasn't kidding or censoring his language. but he rarely censored himself unless he was around his grandmother, molly and arthur, or a professor. otherwise he was pretty shameless, and no one seemed to care about it. he wasn't completely bad about his language, but sometimes it was just necessary. "me? nothing's ever going on, you know that. same old, james and i causing trouble" he chuckled, he was always the trouble maker.
no boys for him to go after? that was good news to teddy. lily's first boyfriend will surely be afraid of theodore remus lupin. ted wasn't sure how he was going to do that, but he'd make it happen. her boyfriend will be afraid of teddy until he knew that the boy would treat lily the was she deserved. "good," he said simply in a slightly smug voice. he still had "his" young and innocent "lillian" lily luna potter. "i just don't want you to get hurt, most guys are asses" he explained to her truthfully, which was probably something that she already knew. but after he said that, her face turned serious and she had a look on her face. then she came out with a statement of teddy's crush... victorie... wait what crush? there was no crush. "i dont know what you are talking about!" he said, avoiding her eyes which probably gave him away, along with his hair turning a dark red, embarrassed. "and every girls knows who i am, i am the amazing theodore remus lupin" he exclaimed, conceded. lily was family to him, practically cousins.
