overall history: Ashleigh was the first of two children, born in the two-story house she's lived in her whole life. She was a spoiled kid, very rarely going without something she wanted. Her parents adored her and always praised her for doing things right. Despite being praised over the littlest things and getting treated like an angel, Ashleigh never really became big headed. She knew that she wasn't perfect and she never appreciated being treated like she was. She was always a pragmatic child, but it seemed as she got older she acted more like a child, instead of maturing. Her parents had another child when she was four and she absolutely worshipped her baby brother.
Thankfully, or at least to her, her parent's started fussing over her little brother more and let her go around and be herself, instead of making her out to be perfection in a body. She started reading and quite liked books, and she was taught how to fly and to play some musical instruments from a young age. When she got her Hogwarts letter, she was ecstatic. Her father had attended and he had told her numerous tales of the splendour of the castle. Her mother, who had been home schooled in France, had wanted her to either go to Beauxbatons or be home schooled. Because Ashleigh is half-Veela her mother had worried she would be taken advantage of at Hogwarts. Ever stubborn, Ashleigh had remained adamant that she was going to Hogwarts and eventually, her mother caved and let her go.
Ashleigh was sorted into Gryffindor and quickly got into a rhythm at Hogwarts. She delighted in going to class at first, though she soon found the early mornings and homework to be a pain, and she loved wandering around the castle and exploring. She has a very good knowledge of the school and often uses short cuts to avoid Peeves, the caretaker and to get to class on time. She's quite friendly with most of the people and ghosts at Hogwarts but she doesn't have many close friends. She's decided that when she returns for her seventh year that she's going to make the effort to make some really close friends and have a great final year.
When she turned 16, some of her friends decided to through a huge party for her. She was already known for her love of having fun and going to a party so they thought it'd be a nice surprise. Ashleigh can't remember much of the part - there was a lot of alcohol smuggled in and most of the night is a drunken blur. She had woken up next to a Slytherin in the year above her, in a strange bed wearing no clothes. Rather ashamed of herself, she left the room and returned home. Three weeks later, she had tripped over a pair of her brother's shoes at the top of the stairs and fell down them. She had quite a few injuries and her parents took her to St. Mungos. There, they told her she had been pregnant but the fall had caused her to loose the baby. She was devastated and still gets down about it now, but she puts on a brave face for her family. She's slowly getting over it, but it made her realise she does hope to have kids someday.

role play sample:Rhosyn was bored. While not exactly a new feeling, she never handled it very well and often ended up doing something ridiculous, like going bungee jumping without the harness. Admittedly, it had been fun but not something she was going to do again. After all, she was never big on repetition. Sighing to herself, the vampire walked out of the living room she was inhabiting and into the hallway. She walked over to the old oak door, snatching up her keys from the side table and clenching them tightly in her hand. She eyed the numerous jackets hanging on the coat hooks before picking her usual, trusty leather jacket. She slipped it on and then opened the door, shutting and locking it behind her.
Stuffing the keys into her jean pocket, Rhosyn meandered slowly down the path to the street. Gnawing on her lip, she wondered where she should go. She didn't fancy going anywhere far, so it had to be in Mystic Falls. She didn't particularly want to stumble upon a group of teens high on drugs, so a walk around the forest was out of the question. Somewhere in town, then. The Grill sounded like a good idea. Decision made, Rhosyn started walking the familiar path to Mystic Falls' town center.
As she walked, Rhosyn briefly considered what had brought her to Mystic Falls. For almost her entire nearly 400 years of life as a vampire, she had been traveling the world without a companion. She had never given thought to settling down; she had always been a free spirit and that had amplified after she was turned. Of course, she was also distracting herself from the guilt of killing her brother. So maybe she wasn't a traveler, maybe she was just running from a past with too many dark times and not enough good ones. Yeah, that sounded about right.
Sighing morosely, Rhosyn shoved the thoughts to the furthers pits of her mind and forced an easy smile on her face. She always, always had to keep up her facade. Letting it fall would bring too many questions, because letting her act dissolve was the same as screaming to the world that something was very wrong with her. And that, right there, was completely unacceptable. It was the reason she didn't have many real friends. She couldn't be honest with them about her life, about her very nature, but expected honesty back? No, that was hypocritical and Rhosyn refused to be a hypocrite. Sighing once more, she again shoved the thoughts away and walked into the Grill.
It was packed with teens, half of them drunk and the other half acting like it. Rhosyn wrinkled her nose ever so slightly as she side-stepped a lumbering football player who looked like he was going to be sick. Ugh, no wonder adults are always moaning about teens, she thought as the adults conversation reached her ears. Shaking her head ever so slightly, Rhosyn strode up to the bar and asked for a vodka and coke. The bartender didn't mention her age and she assumed he was the one selling beer to the numerous drunken, hormonal balls that were the teens in the room. Smiling when he handed her her drink, Rhosyn gave him the money and wandered off to lean against the wall near the pool table.
There was a boy there, playing a game by himself. He has nice arms, she noted idly, sipping her drink as she leaned casually against the wall. There was something almost familiar about him, though she was sure she had never met the guy. No, something about his mannerisms, the way he held himself. Almost as if he was holding something back. It took her a moment to realize it was how she had acted in the first few weeks after change. So, he was a vampire then. Quite a new one, evidently. She tilted her head to the side and let her hair cascade over her shoulder. She righted herself when the boy looked up, eyes roving around the Grill. She assumed he was looking for a partner to play with. Pushing away from the wall, Rhosyn set her drink down on a nearby table and walked up to him.
"Mind if I join?" she queried, a friendly smile on her face.
