patronus: Ari's best memory came to her in her first year in Hogwarts where she met her best friend. Without him she would have been lost completely and they way that they instantly attached to each other has always been a wonderful memory to her. She had been picked on in the hallway and he had stood up for her. The form of her patronus is a tiger, one animal she's always been attached to for some reason.

overall history: Ariadne was the first born into the finnigan family though only by six minutes, which now she can look back on and be incredibly proud of her mother for. She was the first in a set of twins and she couldn’t imagine being closer to anyone else in the entire world. They grew up in a world that was always full of magic, having parents who were both purebloods. With the constant magic in their household and all the wizarding stories that their minds could hold, they were more than prepared to go to school at Hogwarts.
They were shaped to respect others if respect was due and to be impressed by their bloodlines and their gift. This also meant that they were taught just about everything there was to know about quidditch. Ari got her first broom when she turned eight and couldn’t be talked into parting with the thing ever, even sleeping with it beside her bed. That was when she knew that she wanted nothing more than to follow in her mother’s footsteps and play quidditch, maybe even manage a team one day if it came to that.
Of course, nothing really prepared them for their letters though or the shopping for school or the actual trip to Hogwarts. Everything about the place seemed to blow Ari’s mind. She couldn’t really adjust at first and there was nothing more exciting that the train ride to the school. The boat she could have passed on because she had heard horrible stories about what lived in the lake but that didn’t stop her from almost tipping their little boat in excitement to get to the castle. It wasn’t until they were sorted that things sort of set in in an almost unpleasant way. Her and her twin were separated into different houses, not that it stopped them from being close.
As the years progressed though she settled into her house more, learning to love everything about Hufflepuffs and what they had to offer. She still managed to hang out with her twin all the time but they did go their separate ways. Ari became a random lovable person who put faith in everyone, no matter what their standing was in the world. She became optimistic and could always find a silver lining in everything. The best part of her years at Hogwarts though, beside her best friend, was being able to make the quidditch team just like her mother had.

role play sample:Ariadne brushed her hand back through her hair. The pink strands fell gently back around her face and she bit lightly at her lip as she bounced from foot to foot. She was waiting as patiently as she could but this place always seemed to be packed around 1. She hated that she only had time to duck in here now but if she was paying for the meal plan there was no way in hell she was going to skip any of the meals. So Ari stood as patiently as she possibly could in line for a slice of pizza. Sure it wasn’t the healthiest choice, but when you ran the campus basically every day it was ok to eat greasy food from time to time. At least that was the thought process in her head.
Finally she got to snag herself a piece of pizza before she stepped away from the line. Her light brown eyes scanned the dining area. She frowned slightly at how packed the place was and how utterly alone she was going to feel just plopping down at one of the tables in here. Panic started to build in her chest slowly and she had to close her eyes, counting to ten in her head. You would think that a girl who stripped to pay for everything wouldn’t have jitters about crowds. But there was just something about being alone that scared the ever loving hell out of her.
Ari opened her eyes slowly, realizing that she probably looked like a basket case standing there the way she was with her plate and bottle of water in hand. She then trumped off in the direction of the plaza outside. She pushed the door open with her hip and headed toward one of the empty picnic style tables out here. At least while she was out here there were less people. There would be more people walking by, but none that were grouped with their friends with the chance to sit there and stare at her.
She sat down lightly, placing her things on the table with just as much care. She was an overly graceful person with a light touch and that very rarely changed. Ari lifted the pizza easily from the plate and took a rather large bite of it, deciding that if she was going to have to sit by herself she was going to eat quickly so people wouldn’t gawk at her and see her stuffing her face as well.
