overall history:
Gabriel and Juliet were very much in love. The two thought full heartedly that they were soul mates. No relationship came without it's up's and down's though, and theirs was no different. The two argued, but they didn't have full blown fights. Not long after they were married did they start to have children. Their first child was Gabriel Thomas. The 5 pound 8 ounce baby boy was their pride and joy, and normally most people would wait a year or two before they even thought about having another child, but three months after giving birth to Gabe did Juliet become pregnant again, and the woman gave birth to another baby boy, whom she named Ion, exactly a year after Gabriel was born.
Gabe and Ion were very well taken care of. They never struggled for money, and was very open about their heritage. Juliet was a witch and Gabriel was a wizard. The boys knew everything about their parents being magical, and about how it was passed on to them the moment they were born, and both knew that they weren't allowed to practice magic until they started going to school. Chores still had to be done since Juliet believed that it was a 'character building' activity. She knew that her and Gabriel could do the house work easily by doing magic, but she really didn't want to teach her kids how to be lazy so she told Gabriel to leave the housework to the children. Only on some occasions did she use the magic to do chores and such.
The family lived happily for years. There a few bickerings throughout the years, but that was normal with children and their parents, and was very much expect, but if the kids had known how little time they actually had as a happy family they probably would have acted better. Two days before Christmas Juliet and Ion were driving to Gabriel's mother's house. Gabe loved his grandmother she always spoiled them, and showed her love towards them more than what most grandparents did. Gabe and his father took a plane to Sophia's house while Juliet and Ion drove. Ion wasn't able to ride on planes so Juliet decided to drive. Gabe and his father flew to help Sophie with decorating her house for christmas. Needless to say Juliet, and Ion never made it to Sophia's house. Juliet lost her traction on a sheet of ice, and crashed head on into a much larger SUV.
After the incident Gabriel left his son to stay with his grandmother for a while as he headed home. Gabriel just couldn't stand to look at his son. He had his mothers eyes, and every time he looked at the boy it reminded him too much of Juliet. Although Gabe didn't really understand why his father left him at his grandmothers during the worst time of his life he embraced it, and tried to deal with it the best that he could. His grandmother was at least a great listener, and had some pretty helpful advice for him too. After about a year though Gabe's father came back, and announced that he was married and had a daughter on the way. Although Gabe was pretty upset with the fact that he missed so much he went back home with his father, and met his wife. It was hard for Gabe to accept the woman as his mother it was a little bit easier when his baby sister was born.
Gabriel fell in love with his baby sister. Not only was it because he had never had a little sister before, but because she was so fragile. Gaberiel was taught early that he had to respect girls because they were made smaller, and sometimes weaker than the male gender, and that's how Juliet came into this world smaller and weaker. From the moment that he met Juliet he knew that he was going to have to be the best big brother ever, and protect her in every way that he could.

role play sample:The school was just as uninspiring as she thought it was going to be. Dolly Jane Petrova was placed in the Slytherin house, but Dolly knew that she was already going to be put in that house. It’d be a mistake to place her in any other house. Tonight the school was hosting a ball, apparently called the ‘Snowball.’ Now Dolly wasn’t really interested in public gathering, but if she didn’t have to be stuck in this place for so long then she probably wouldn’t even go, but she had the perfect dress to wear, and it would be such a shame to let such a beautiful dress go to waste. Running a brush through her long jet black hair Dolly continued to stare at her reflection in the mirror. The thick black lipstick that covered her lips made her smile. Her style was unique to most other people, but to her it matches her personality oh so well. Dolly placed the brush down, and turned around to look at her bed. There on the bed was her dress. It was one that her mother had gotten her. It had been too big for her before now, and even now she didn’t know if it was going to fit, but she was going to try it.
After a few minutes of adjustments, and minor problems Dolly finally had her dress on. Taking a deep breath the girl walked in front of her mirror again, and looked at her reflection once again. The long elegant dress fit her perfectly. Dolly grabbed the bottom of the dress, and pulled it away from her legs slightly. The slit was a little longer than she liked it to be, but still it made her look pretty good if she did say so herself. With a small smile Dolly almost skipped back to her bed to sit down, and put on her shoes. The silver shoes weren’t a perfect match to the dress, but who would know? They matched well enough for her. Dolly sat down, and began to unbuckle, and buckle the shoes to her feet. The slytherin girl stood up, and looked at herself in the mirror once more before nodding in approval, and heading out the door.
Out in the Slytherin common room there were girls standing around chatting about where they bought their dresses, and the boys they were going with. The boys were standing around talking to each other as well, but not quite as loudly as the girls so Dolly had no idea what they were talking about, but the girl didn’t really care. Without paying attention to any of them Dolly walked straight through the common room, and out into the dungeons. Pulling her dress up a little so it wouldn’t drag on the dirty floor of the dungeons, Dolly picked up her pace so she could get out of the dungeons as quickly as possible. Very few things creeped Dolly out, but the dungeons were one of them she never could point out why, and she would definitely never let anyone know. A weakness is vulnerability, and Dolly never did well with that.
The walk to the ballroom wasn’t as long as she had expected it to be. She knew she wasn’t the only one that was going to the ball, but she wasn’t expecting to see this many people here. With a small shrug Dolly Jane began to walk through the small crowds of people making her way to the drinks. She was alright with spending some time alone, but she wasn’t going to stand here, and drink alone the entire night. She figured she could make an appearance and then leave. As much as she probably stood out everyone else was so caught up in all of their own conversations that Dolly wasn’t really expecting anyone to take notice to her. Which was completely alright with her.
