overall history: on some odd friday the thirteenth, at a hospital a family was gifted with the arrival of twins: one girl and one boy. the girl was named sutton royal, and the boy was surrey roman. the tinker family was extremely excited to be able to put them into their family photo album. a few years later the last of the family was popped out in the form of sable ramsay tinker. surrey, being three at the time, ran around the house claiming him to be his little baby. he loved little kids.
by the time surrey was eight, he started exhibiting weird things. at school pages would turn and he wouldn't even be touching them or his pencil would write by itself. once at home he splattered paint across the wall and turned his twin's hair blue. a lot of unexplained accidents started to occur. it was only him though, it seemed he was the problem. his parents didn't know what to do and even sent him to many doctors to see if they could diagnose him of anything. but surrey was a perfectly healthy little boy. he was just magical.
at age eleven, when he received his hogwarts acceptance letter there couldn't have been more tension in the house. his sister hated him for being special. extremely jealous. and his parents just didn't understand or know what to do. sable was younger and thought it was cool, and also like sutton, was jealous. but after surrey promised to bring him back something cool, sable was cool with it. sterling and alexis sent their son to hogwarts. and in hogwarts, surrey was placed in hufflepuff.
he'd heard things about the house being for all the wimpy people, and automatically hated being in the house. he'd wanted to leave hogwarts immediately, because it just wasn't fair. but after a year or so, it felt like home. really, and ever since surrey's loved being a badger. the relationship with his family is still a little tight. but only because he hardly ever sees them but in the summer or for winter break. it's saddening, especially when sutton so obviously still shows bitterness towards him. although, it's gotten a bit better over the years, and she just flaunts her normality at him.
