siblings: none, but his cousins are just like his family.
others: The other Lestrange family. Rodolphus and Porter are his aunt and uncle and the other two Lestrange males are his cousins.
overall history:
Rabastan was always a Death Eater. Once he was out of Azkaban, he promised he would never go back. Romilda was more than fine with just following him around. Anything he wanted, she did. He figured the best way for him to blend in would be to have a child. She was thrilled. The two of them ended up having Everett. Because of his past, there was no way Rabastan would be able to work. So Romilda got a job and Rabastan went ahead and took care of the small child. He was sure it wouldn't be too hard. Besides, he loved the kid. Or so it seemed for a long time. None of the authorities did much about him, since he never seemed to want to do anything that could possibly hurt his child.
But once Everett was able to take care of himself, Rabastan started doing illegal things again. When everyone started looking too closely at him, he took off leaving both his wife and his child. Everett was sent to his aunt and uncle's to spend most of his time with them. The idea was that he would be just fine with his family and his cousins would be more like a family for him. It worked. All of the Lestrange boys acted similar around each other and it was hard to tell that they were just cousins. They boys all bonded together which worked out well when it was time for all of them to be sorted at Hogwarts. They all got their letters at the same time, which was exciting for Everett.
As luck would have it, all three of the Lestrange males were sorted into Slytherin. Being from one of the purist families, they kept themselves away from other people. Everett didn't like talking to anyone who wasn't his cousin. He avoided all people, really. He just wasn't a social person. He found himself doing pretty well in classes, but he was always scared of his broom. He wasn't a fan of it at all. If he could avoid playing Quidditch, he did. It was something that he knew would disappoint his father, if the elder male ever found out. Everett just did other things instead of Quidditch. He was on the stands at every game, though. He always supported his house.
When OWLs came, he didn't worry at all. And it turned out he had no need to worry. He got four Os and three EEs. Suddenly everyone seemed to understand why he was the Lestrange with a badge. But that doesn't mean he keeps up with the code he should as a prefect. Nope. He usually lets his cousins off, if he catches them doing something wrong. He'll give them a slap on the wrist several times, since he has no desire to ever get them into trouble.
