veritaserum: - 5th yeah, Dorian cheated on his Herbology exam and obtained an O, to his own surprise.
- The fact that he had an almost near death experience back in second year... only a select few know that he was the student, but the story circulates around the school.
dementor: The worst memory that Dorian actually remembers is the day where he felt he was going to be eaten alive by an Acromantula. Dorian had been running from one in the Forbidden Forrest when he tripped over a large root to a tree, dropping his wand out of reach in the process, he could see and feel the Acromantula drool over him as he prepared to eat the young boy, thankfully someone saved him before it was too late. Dorian still has nightmares about that event to this day.
patronus: The best memory that Dorian has would certainly have to be the first time he'd dueled someone infront of a large crowd of students. All the excitement and the pre-duel jitters that were bubbling in his stomach bring about a feeling you just cant forget, and all that coupled with the feeling he got upon winning and the cheers of his peers. Talk about epic win! Dorian's patronus takes the form of an Alligator, which represents aggression, survival, and adaptability. As well as cunning and deceptive, which comes from Dorian's ability to play both sides of the field while not officialy taking sides as to who his loyalty lies with.

overall history: Blaise Zabini and his wife Tory welcomed their first-born son, Dorian Elijah Zabini into the world at 11:24 pm on December 15 of 2003 while in the company of their family and friends. It was a joyous occasion for Blaise to be gifted with a son to carry on his family legacy into the next-generation of young Hogwarts students. His son recieved alot of his father's attention while young, spoiled with the best toys that money could buy. During the time that Dorian was 1 year old, Blaise and Tory had decided to have another child, bringing home this time with them a baby girl, which really made his father happy. As the two grew up, they were exposed quite early to the magical world, being taken on trips to go see the Quidditch World Cup as well as the games at Hogwarts, which sparked quite an interest in Dorian. It wasn't long before then that both Dorian and his sister began to show their magical abilities, making their beds levitate and such, even a time when Dorian had unknowingly of course, used a full body-bind on some kids who had been picking on him and his sister. At 11 the post came a little earlier than times he remembered, and a letter this time was addressed specifically to him delivered from an owl. Opening it up, Dorian found it was his acceptance letter from Hogwarts. Immediately after his father had come home they went to Diagon Alley to shop for school supplies.
A few weeks had passed before the day came to board the Hogwarts Express and the beginning of the journey toward a place he'd been reading and hearing about from many people. Seeing a family friend in Scorpius Malfoy, once his stuff was loaded Dorian rushed off with him to find a seat, waving to his mother and father and no doubt his jealous sister who would join him next year. Upon arrival to the Castle by the boats, Dorian can still remember to this day just how in awe he was at the mere size of such a place, it was much bigger than he'd expected. Trying to get a look at a part that was somewhat out of view, Dorian had almost fallen into the lake though was caught by a fellow first-year. When time came to be sorted, before being called to sit on the stool, Dorian stared at the older students who watched waiting to see where he would be placed. A fair few of those whom he'd made acquaintances with had gone to Slytherin house, and not wanting to be alone, found himself hoping he would as well. When Slytherin was called and the roar of applause sounded from the table, Dorian ran over with extreme happiness, glad to be in a house where he felt welcome and was with friends.
The first year at Hogwarts was mind-blowing for such a young kid. There was so much that he didn't know about in the world, things he'd read about before in a few books here and there but had never seen. Flying on broomsticks, levitating feathers, making potions and such. Watching the teams play Quidditch was something that had surely caught his eyes. His father had taken him to matches plenty of times with the Malfoys when he was younger, and he'd been in love with the sport ever since, so it gave him something to be ambitious about, already showing his determination to be on the house team. Although he tried out and didn't make the team, it wasn't until his second year that he found out why. First years were usually never picked to play due to their inexperience. Over the summer, he'd gotten a new broomstick called The Sienna Storm for Quidditch Season, and trained with it for hours on end learning manuvers and improving drastically on his flying ability as a whole. Returning for his second year with his younger sister now with him, Dorian found himself trying out again, thankfully this time he made Chaser. The Captain of the team must've been quite impressed with the second years, seeing as a few of them made the team over the older students. As a result, one of the members whod been replaced began to bully Dorian. It was him whod dared the boy to go into the Forbidden Forest at night to meet him there for a duel. Instead Dorian was tricked. Saved by the spell of the Transfigurations Professor at the time, Dorian was taken to the Hospital wing where treated for minor injuries, and was given a few detentions despite having heard the story Dorian had to tell.
In the passing years, Dorian remained hard at work in school, maintaining a healthy balance between his school work, Quidditch practice, and personal sleep time although some nights he found himself asleep in the library having to be woken up by the Librarian to go back to the Common Rooms before curfew. More than a few times, Dorian met up with the Charms Master of the school while heading back down to the dungeons, and would engage in conversation about the subject that he'd found to be very much interesting to him. Although insisting that he could talk for hours about things he'd read and questions he had for the Professor about such and such a topic, Dorian was shushed off to bed reassured that the conversation would resume another time. 5th year was quite stressful in all honesty. With the piling work that came with the end of the year O.W.L.s, there sometimes became mixes in his scheduel where he'd have to substitute a bit of sleep for another hour or two for homework and such or sacrifice a bit of time of Quidditch practice to go get some sleep before another class started. Dorian found himself all over the place but managed to make whatever it was he was doing work for him, and when O.W.L.s time came, he knew he would do fantastic. During the summer when he scores had come back, Dorian was highly excited to know that he had gotten all O's, except for in Charms and Transfiguration where he recieved E's.

role play sample:Justice was so excited to be returning to Hogwarts, that he hadn't slept the night before at all, and he was surely exhausted when his mother came into his bedroom in order to wake him up so they could embark on the ride to Kings Cross Station and get him on the train. "Didn't sleep last night, did you dear?" Mrs. Shacklebolt asked her son as she stood beside his bed, looking at her son as he sat up on his bed, already dressed and ready to go. Judging by his room and it'd tidiness, he'd spent the entire night cleaning his room, packing his trunks, and reading his many spells books to jog his memory from the pass 5 years he'd spent at Hogwarts in just about every subject he'd taken. From Transfiguration, to Herbology, to Potions, to Charms and then the Defense Against the Dark Arts.
Looking over to his mother with an obviously tired grin on his face, Justice nodded before he stood up and stretched his arms and legs while he yawned into the warm atmosphere of his bedroom. "Yeah, I'm just so excited to be going back to school, I can't wait to see what'll happen this year. And with my new broomstick, the other houses won't know what hit them come Quidditch time." It was obvious that Justice was quite excited for this new school year, by the way he spoke, the obvious enthusiam in his voice pushed through his sleepiness. His mother smiled and reached out to pat him on the shoulder a few times before she walked over toward his luggage, pulling out her wand, she tapped the two large trunks and then the smaller trunk that held his change of clothes for the ride on the train. The three trunks began to levitate behind her as she turned on her heels in order to leave the room. "Come on to the car, Justice, we're nearly late.." Mrs. Shacklebolt spoke on the way out of his room.
Justice nodded and headed over to his bedrooms open window, closing it before he reached to pick up the bird cage that held his pet owl inside, he smiled as she began to ruffle her feathers as he'd woken her up, accidently of course. "Sorry, girl. It's time to go, sleep well I trust?" He asked with a charming smile, holding her cage by the handle, he then walked over to the corner of his room and reached out to grab his brand new broomstick he'd aquired nearly just a month ago, the Sienna Storm it was called, and from his experience, it was one of the top of the line brooms, equivalent to the Firebolt. Giving one last check around his room to make sure he didn't forget anything, he grabbed his wand from his nightstand beside his bed before shoving it into his side pocket. As quickly as he could with the cage and his broomstick in his hands, Justice raced outside of the house just as his mother was loading the trunk with his trunks. Handing her his broomstick, Justice set the cage in the backseat of the car along with himself in order to keep her company.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Upon his arrival at Kings Cross Station, Justice waved down a man who had finished using his trolly, thanking him for it before he set his own things on it with the strength of both he and his mother, seeing as they couldn't risk using magic infront of a Muggle place, otherwise they'd never hear the end of it from her husband and his father, Kingsley Shacklebolt, the current Minister of Magic. Once everything was set, Justice and Mrs. Shacklebolt began their way inside, with his mother standing at the side in order to steady the caged owl ontop of the luggage as well as the broomstick.
They quickly made their way to the barrier between platforms 9 and 10, his mother sighing lightly as she decided that she'd go through first, taking his owl and broomstick with her, disappearing through the barrier, followed by her son almost immediately. Looking around for a moment at the incredibly long train, Justice smiled quite happily, as he couldn't believe that he was here once again this year. A few of his friends had already jumped on the train, but he could see their parents still standing there, waiting for the train to take off before they would leave to go about their lives.
Taking his baggage over to the conductor who was setting it all on the train, Justice brought him both his owl and his broom, setting them ontop of his luggage which was next to be loaded. Heading back over to his mother, Justice gave her as strong a hug as he could, geeling her kiss him through her silent weeping. "Mum, don't cry, I'll write to you every chance I get. Tell Dad that I hope to see him at some of my games if he ever gets time off." Justice said with a laugh as he gave his mother a kiss on both sides of her face before he turned and headed toward the train, jumping on, then turning to wave to her.
"Oh wait, Justice, dear!" Mrs. Shacklebolt yelled as she rushed up toward the train, reaching into her pockets in order to pull out almost a handful of money for him to spend. "Here's some money for the Trolley, I know how much you like sweets." With a laugh, she gave him the money comprised of Galleons and Sickles. Laughing himself, Justice took the money and set it in his own pocket, giving her another kiss before he then disappeared on the train. "Bye Mum, love ya!" he called.
