Sleeping in the Slytherin Dungeons always made it difficult for one to tell when the sun was rising over the mountains in the distance outside, mainly because the dungeons were located beneath the Black Lake, and the windows were always tinted green from the color of the water at the depths they were located. Somehow though, it seemed light that proved strong enough to penetrate the dark waters would light up Slytherin house with a beautiful emerald shine. Unfortunate enough to have gotten one of the more undesired beds in the dormitory, Dorian shifted in bed with a light sigh, turning his back to the window to escape the green light shining on his face, but the action was for naught, because as soon as he turned over his warm brown eyes opened up.
The dormitory was quiet, and everyone else that he could see within his immediate line of sight was still in their bed. Swinging his long legs out of bed to allow his feet to touch down upon the cool wooden floor, the young wizard waited but a moment before he climbed out of bed, stretching his muscular arms high above his head before using his right hand to cover his mouth as he stifled a yawn so as not to wake up anyone else in the dormitory. Not because he cared that they were sleeping, but it was too damned early in the morning for him to have to hex someone. He was also sure that the Hospital Wing wouldnt like having a visitor before the day even got started. Reaching underneath the fluffy pillow on his bed, Dorian grasped the handle of his wand, twirling it between his fingers before waving it over his bed, using magic to make up his bed. Turning on his heels, Dorian walked over to the foot of his bed where he opened up the large trunk that sat there, fumbling through the contents of the trunk to find some clothes to wear for the day. Thankfully it was the weekend, so he wouldnt have to worry about dressing in the required uniform for classes.
Buttoning the last few buttons on his shirt, Dorian quietly closed his trunk, twirling his wand expertly between his fingers as he made his way down from the 7th year boys dorms, down into the quiet, empty common room, and out from behind the wall that hid Slytherin's common room. As his steps echoed quietly off the dungeon walls, Dorian could both feel and hear his stomach rumble in hunger, the sound reminding him of a lion's roar. "Oh hush up, I'm on my way there now." Dorian murmured to himself as he made his way out of the dungeons up to the Ground Floor of the castle. For the moment, there was quiet, but once Dorian passed through the wide open doors of the Great Hall, he could hear the slight chatter of the few early bird such as himself who were also hungry. His feet led him toward the middle of Slytherin's table, away from the other younger students who were up at the other ends of the table. Taking a seat, he sighed quietly, looking at the empty table just waiting for the elves to decide when to start serving breakfast.
