"Yes! Those must be his kids, too! Golly, that one looks just like him. Should we go talk to them?"
"Excuse me, sir... Are you Harry Potter? Do you mind if we have our picture with you?"
This was almost Lily's every day life growing up as a Potter. Any time she was out with his dad or even Aunt Hermione or Uncle Ron, someone would come up and ask for an autograph or a picture. Lily never minded or thought much of it, because she'd known this kind of behavior for her entire life. She'd never even known the reason for it until she finally asked just why everyone knew of their family, that was when she learned that his father was famous for killing the most horrible dark wizard of their time. She was glad to finally be in the know, but devastated that she'd never been told this most crucial of information up till she was of age, but according to family she was 'too young' to know, and frankly that excuse popped up everywhere.
It wasn't up to just after Lilys seventh birthday that the accident happened, although Lily was never told just what exactly had happened whilst she and her brothers were out with Aunt Hermoine and Uncle Ron preparing for the start of term at Hogwarts ( which of course lily was thrilled to be finally understanding just what was so great about hogwarts!) but according to what she'd managed to eaves drop some death eaters had kicked off - and of course Ginny and Harry being Aurors had been sent out to calm it down and arrest them. Obviously it had gone wrong, but it could have been worse. The whole family could have been dead right?
The Potter family lived for a long time on Harry's income alone, which was enough to be considered 'wealthy'. Lily had had health problems when she was very young, and Ginny had stayed at home for years to take care of her. The Potters first lived in a little cottage in Godric's Hollow, which was Harry's home when he was a baby. After the accident they finally we're split up with the weasleys, Lily spending most of her time with the Veela loving vain weasleys more commonly know as fleur, bill and dom and vic. But occassionally she stopped round with her brothers - when she was of course in the mood to put up with them. Lily has grown with a huge family around him, and they practically never stop talking about the value of family and loved ones. Lily knows that they're not supposed to have favorites, but his has always been his uncle Charlie, who she doesn't get to see very often, because he lives in Romania. Lily has a fascination with dragons.
At Hogwarts, first week in she crashed her broom, yeah typical lily was pretty much accident prone that shes almost always going into the hospital wing - or coming back out. She was surprisingly sorted into slytherin, and although she tries to remain detached from her brothers as school, she always looks up to them.
