Aurora sighed. Today has really been a long day for her, and she hated long days. She had a ton of classes, and now, she had a ton of school work to complete. She looked down at her watch, and sighed. Dinner time was getting close, and she really didn't want to walk all the way down to the great hall. She sighed. She would at least have to put her books up. She wasn't carrying two heavy books all the way down toe Great Hall. Sure, she needed the exercise, but still. She sighed, and realized that she was on the sixth floor. She sighed and slumped against the wall of sixth floor. She watched student buzz around the hall, trying to get down to their common rooms, and put books aways to get to dinner. Rory really didn't want to go to dinner. She wasn't really that hungry, but now, she was usually starving. She wasn't sure what was wrong with her. She sighed. It was a bad habit of hers. She sighed at everything. She wasn't really excited to this school year. It was her last school year, and it was quite sad.
She let her mind fill with thoughts of the upcoming year, and how she was worried about her younger sister. She hated her sister was placed in SLytherin, but she would understand that sometimes. Her sister can be a real pain in her ass some times. She sighed, and shook her head. She really didn't understand that girl some times. You could tell Rory, and herself were sisters. She didn't understand why, maybe it was because her parents both were gorgeous, and had blonde hair. Rory was very polite. She didn't think she was gorgeous at all, but the males thought differently. She had at least one male try to flirt with her a day. She just turned them down nicely, and everyone called her bitch, but she wasn't into the whole dating thing right now, she never had been.

Estella was done with classes for the day, and she was incredibly happy about that. It wasn’t that she didn’t like her classes – well not really– it was just that it was the first time in days that she had free time. The whole week was filled with homework and studying for upcoming tests, but not tonight. Oh no, tonight she was going to have fun and finally hang out with her friends. Even though most of them were in her house, she had been too preoccupied with her homework this week to actually have a proper conversation. After all, it’s quite hard, talking while working and the brunette had never quite gotten use to it. Whenever she attempted to do so, it always resulted in her needing to correct a lot of words either because she wrote a word twice, or she had accidentally wrote a word that she didn’t mean to.
Currently though, she was not hanging out with her friends. It seemed as if fate had a different plan and left her stranded on the sixth floor, forcing the Gryffindor to wait until the staircase moved back into its place and suffer from starvation. So, may she wasn’t exactly suffering from starvation, but Estella would like to think that she was. She just had a flair for dramatics. At the moment, her hunger was not a big problem for her. The brunette had some food in her bag and she could probably last an hour with it.
After a while of sitting at where the staircase was suppose to be, Estella got bored and she got up. She thought that it would be less boring for her to move around, and she had always wanted to explore every corner of Hogwarts, and now was her chance. As she walked along the hallway, she spotted her close friend, Aurora against the wall, and she quickly abandoned her task of exploring the castle. There were more important things to deal with. “Are you alright?” Estella asked worriedly as she got closer to her girl.

Aurora looked up, and saw her friend Estella. She sighed. She didn't really want to bring down her poor friend. She smiled, and stood up. " Ya, Stella, I am fine" She said said, still smiling at her friend. She loved the poor girl to death. They were roommates, and they did everything together pretty much. They were attached at the hip. Sometimes, Aurora got tired of Stella, but she still love her, and she was glad to have her in her life. She sighed, and waited for Stella to respond. She decided it was best if she spoke first. " Are you on your way to dinner, Stella?" She asked her friendly, and picked up her books that were still laying on the ground. She clutched them tight against her chest. She didn't know what else to say.
Aurora, and Estella were close, yes, but sometimes they fought. They were just like normal friends. Normal friends fought, and had disagreements, and such like that. She didn't mean to fight with her friend, but when she was having a bad day it was nearly impossible. Stella, I have a bad day. I really don't want to go to dinner tonight, but I am guessing you are probably starving, and wanting to go" She said forming a guess. Aurora was good at guessing. She leaned up against the wall, and waited for her friend to answer. She smiled at her friend. Stella, and Aurora were two of the most beautiful girls at Hogwarts. Aurora knew it, and she didn't really take credit for being pretty. She hated all the attention, and stuff like that.

Estella had a little frown on her face at Rory’s obvious lie. She wasn’t stupid. She could tell that something was wrong with her friend, but she decided to drop it. After all if she wanted to tell her how she was feeling, she would…. Right? She had never been the kind of person to pressure someone to tell them how they felt, even if she knew that they were lying through their teeth. It only leads to confrontation, and while the brunette was not afraid of it, she didn’t exactly like it either. “Oh, I was, but the staircase moved and now I have to wait,” Estella said with an annoyed little shake of her head. While that did happen to the girl sometimes, she still got quite annoyed by it.
“You’re right, I do want to go to dinner, but since you’re having such a bad day, I’ll stay with you here. I mean, I have some good in my bag, so I’m kind of set for the night,” the brunette said with a smile, gesturing to her bag with her hands. She wasn’t the type of person to abandon her friends when they weren’t in a good mood, especially when it was someone was as close to her as Rory was. Estella just couldn’t stand when someone she cared for was hurt, and despite the fact that her friend didn’t seem to be hurt physically she did seemed to be under some emotional pain. “If you don’t mind me asking, why are you having a bad day? Of course, you don’t have to tell me if you don’t want to.”

Aurora glanced at her friend, and sighed. She wasn't really sure what to say a the moment in time. She laughed when Estella said something about the staircase moving, and her having to wait. She shook her blonde head, and just gave her a small smile. Well, Stella, I am sorry to hear that. I am pretty sure it will be back to normal in no time" She said brushing some of her curls out of her pretty face. She knew that the staircases moved, and she knew how much people hated them when they moved. It really didn't bother Aurora to much. She was never in a hurry to get anywhere, well maybe some classes some time, but she usually gave herself enough time to get to her class if she was running a little behind schedule.
Rory listened to her friend talk. She loved when Stella talked. She loved listening to her. She wasn't sure why, but it soothed her, and made her feel better without her knowing it. [NOT FINISHED]
