Celeste walked out onto the pitch, the wind stung her pale face. Her out-dated Firebolt was clutched in her left hand, her wand hand. The wind current was strong and cold but Celeste preferred to fly everyday, exceptions for Hogsmeade days when she would hang out with Vincent. Celeste swung her leg over the broom, setting her foot on the ground. And with a strong kick, she took off.
The wind ran to Celeste's hair, making it fly in a blonde blur as it usually did. She would always tell herself: To fly is to live. And flying is what she loved, her passion, her hobby. She had been a Seeker since her Second Year at Hogwarts, and adored every minute of it.
Celeste saw something gold fly into the air. The Snitch? But she hadn't released it. She looked down on the pitch and saw her old friend Destiny Dubois, the Ravenclaw Quittitch team leader and one of the Chaser. Celeste saw what she was attempting. The Golden Snitch was out of her view now. It started to rain a little but Celeste didn't mind. She circled the pitch a few times, but that's when she found it. The Snitch. It was near to the ground.
Celeste dove down almost immediately, and at incredible speed. With an outstretched hand, she chased the Snitch, not daring to take her eyes off of it. Then, when she got close enough, she wrapped her fingers around the Snitch. It struggled against her palm but she kept it tight in her fist. She got off of her broom. "So, Destiny, come to practice?" she asked.

Destiny slowly ambled out to the Quidditch pitch, broom under her arm. The wind was fierce today, she noticed. It might even be strong enough to blow her off course, which did sometimes happen, even now. She didn't like practicing with the wind, of course, but it was necessary if she wanted to be a successful Chaser and Captain. Wind was something that was frequent when it came to actual matches, so she needed to practice with wind. This she knew.
But sometimes, she liked practicing positions besides Chaser, especially since she had to train the newer players—and now was one of those times when she wanted to. She released the fluttering, struggling golden Snitch from her hand and watched it fly into the air. She had mounted her broom and kicked off, chasing after it, lagging really, letting it have a head start.
She hadn't thought that there would be someone else at the pitch so late, but apparently there was. Celeste Rockelle Dream, the Seeker of the team, caught the Snitch in her right hand. Startled, Destiny sank back down to the ground, unmounted her broom, and looked up at Celeste. As though sensing that the Snitch she had caught had not been hers to catch, Celeste looked down and saw her. "So, Destiny, come to practice?"
"You bet," Destiny said playfully. "I'm going to whomp your butt. One-on-one, do you think?"
