Delilah Harmony Longbottom
FIFTEEN - HUFFLEPUFF - PUREBLOOD - AVRIL LAVINGE
THE SCARS OF YOUR LOVE
remind me of us - - - - - -
It's a pleasure to meet you. I'm Delilah Longbottom. I'm the youngest of five kids in my family. Clearly my parents, Hannah and Neville, are quite the child-lovers. My mother usually stays home while my father works as a Herbology Professor at Hogwarts. Sometimes it's weird having him as my teacher, but since I love Herbology it doesn't matter.
My friends say that I'm kind, slightly secretive, trusting, talented, positive and confident. But, really, I don't try to be that nice. I find myself just doing random good acts against my own will. I don't know...sometimes things like that just don't come to me. My favorite things in the whole world are probably plants, my friends, and my family. But deep down inside...I know that I'm waiting for the right guy. Dad always says that there's so much to discover. Then, he would always look out to our windowsill where we have all of our herbs. The Longbottoms seem to be some serious plant-geeks, including me. So, overall, I'm slightly generous, confident, curious...and clumsy.
Now I should get more into my past life. Sure, I'm only fifteen, but so much has happened in my life!
I was born on November 27th. I had always grown up with magic, mostly herbs, though. Being a Herbologist, my father tends to overwhelm our house. I remember when I was little the plants would crawl to life and "poke me" when I slept. I would sometimes awake in the morning with little scratches that healed around five hours later. My four siblings liked to pick on me a bit, but it was okay. I was always the laughing stock of my family.
When I got my letter from Hogwarts--I was eleven at the time--my family was delighted! I was so happy to finally go.
But when I went on the train--It was September 1st--I found myself nervous. I didn't really know what to do. But I sort of just went along with everyone else. I sat in a compartment with a few Gryffindor Second Years who treated me to Pumpkin Pasties. Dad had stocked me up on herbs. So, basically, I was this clumsy little First Year with two trunks. One was full of my clothes and such, the other full of plants. I was also holding a fair few plants...and my cat Genevieve.
I remember my Sorting so vivid that it seemed it happened yesterday. At first, the Sorting Hat was hesitant whether to put me into Gryffindor or Hufflepuff. He took around one minute to decide the correct house. After what seemed like forever, he put me into Hufflepuff. I was relieved to finally go down. The Hufflepuff table welcomed me warmly.
Hogwarts is one of my favorite places. Over the years I've been loving every second of my magical education But, as my education is more than halfway over, I enter my Fifth Year.

Celeste Rockelle Dream, 18, Ravenclaw
experience: Quite some time.
role play sample:Celeste mounted her broom nervously, the wood felt warm between her legs. If this was her first time flying she had hoped to be good at it. She tapped the grip eagerly. When their flying instructor finally blew the whistle, she kicked off into the air.
Celeste, only being eleven, hadn't realized the extremely amazing feeling of flying until that moment. They didn't have quittitch in Paris. The wind whipped through her long blonde hair, making it wizz behind her in a blur. Celeste smiled. She had never felt so amazing. She went around in circles on the old school broom, feeling more confident each time. She hoped that the moment may never be shattered from her mind.
But that's when it did shatter. Celeste fell, hundreds of feet down, and landed smack on the grass.
Celeste sat up with a start, cold sweat beating down her forehead. She looked at the time. She missed breakfast! Thank God it was Saturday. She got up and quickly and dressesd, her fantasy dream still fresh in her mind. She hadn't fallen on her first flight but she almost had, but didn't. It was good that she hadn't, though. Celeste looked at herself in the mirror, the same stressed-out figure as always. It was hard to believe that she was the same little girl she had just seen in that dream. She sighed and started down to breakfast.
The Great Hall was generally full. Celeste walked to her usual spot at the very end of the Ravenclaw table. She was alone. She started eating but she didn't really eat. Celeste had been depressed the past few months, there had been no one to talk to. She sighed and picked at her food, only taking small bites of it. What a horrible life it was.
