"Come in Hyacinth," Addedna lowered her morning paper and beckoned in a young nurse from the archway where her office door had once stood over seven years ago. "What is it? You seem all a fluster." Concern dripping down her face, she rose from behind her desk and approached the other woman to comfort her with a hand on the shoulder.
"Students, Headmistress. Broomstick accident." She just about managed to stuttered through her heavy breaths of panic.
"Heavens no!" Addedna cried in shock. "But the breakfast feast has yet to begin. Flying their broomsticks at this hour? Guide the way, dear." Ushering the nurse to the door, she reached for a scarf and swung it about her person before following her out the archway. It didn't take all too long for her to arrive at the hospital wing as Edna was forced to pace at much of a quick march as the nurse moved briskly ahead of her. It was a pain as Edna was in her usual heeled boots and it was difficult to get up to a running pace in them. Arriving at the threshold, she was met with a few crying students - obvious friends of the injured. One was whailing so much, his nose was running - bringing a grimance to Edna's face.
"Here," she said, drawing a silk hankerchief from within the folds of her robe. "Keep it." She insisted - not wanting it back after it was used. It was a shame really. She'd sewn it herself with the finest of her embroidery skills. Shaking her head, she returned to the matter at hand - passing through the gathered crowd to a trio of nurses.
"What happened?" she asked, her subtle scottish lilt poking it's way through into her deep alto tones.
"They collided at highspeeds on the Quidditch pitch. We believe they wanted to get some practice in." One of them pipped up, gesturing to the two bedded students.
"Oh, sillybilly's." Edna muttered, only to be taken off guard as one of the injured's eyes fluttered open. Rushing to their side, she knelt on the cobbled flooring. "Are you alright?" She asked, wraft with worry.
