Early morning was Jakob's favorite time of day. Why? Because the world around him was just waking up and he enjoyed the vulnerability the world was in. Anyone just waking up had the opportunity of death near him considering the fact that he hardly ever slept anymore. Sleep wasn't a particular hobby he enjoyed anymore thanks to the amount of dreams of a certain vampire he constantly received. Just the simple thought of her made him shiver all over. The vampire in question made Jakob go crazy literally and figuratively. He brought his hand up to rub the bridge of his nose, wondering for the millionth time why had his father wanted him to bite her? He probably knew the crush he had had on the Italian girl and figured he could torture him by making Jakob bite her. If that was the plan, it worked and even if it wasn't the plan, it worked. The girl would not get out of his mind and it tortured him that he had taken her once basic life into some complicated life she probably would have never asked for. Oh well. It was done with now. Had been done with for two hundred and sixteen years now. Jakob sighed softly, turning toward his four poster bed that was aligned with emerald sheets, and grabbed his wardrobe for the day. Of course, the wardrobe was his Hogwarts school uniform, a uniform he dreaded wearing every day he had to.
He tugged off the towel that had been wrapped around his waist from the shower that morning and pulled on his outfit. He was meticulous about his outfit, his white shirt tails tucked in neatly into his grey trousers and his vest neatly laying against his chest. His cuffs were neat and there weren't any wrinkles in anything that he wore. Jakob's hair was even perfect, perfectly combed to the left, not a single hair was out of place. Without a glance in the mirror, he slid on his shoes, tying them up tightly and neatly, grabbed his messenger bag and headed down to breakfast, the girl still on his mind. Damn his father for playing such games with him. Jake shook his head, pushing through the slight crowd in the commonroom to head to the Great Hall. He hated when people were in the way. On his way to the Great Hall, some first year tried talking to him for some reason. Already in a bad mood, Jakob grabbed the little boy by the front of his collar and slammed him into the wall, baring his fangs out at the boy. The boy squirmed, whimpering, fear rolling off of him like sweat. "Leave me be unless you want every ounce of your blood drained." You could say he wasn't in a bad mood or you could say he was in a great mood, just depended on how well you knew him. He dropped the kid to the ground, watched him scamper off to Merlin knew where and continued on his trek toward the hall of feasts.
The lanky vampire went over to his house's table, slumping down at the very end of the table as he always did. He blinked and nodded in delight as the plates around him filled with toast, ham, and waffles. He took his fair share of what he figured he'd be able to keep down that day and watched as his goblet was filled to the brim a thick red drink. Most thought it was a foreign fruit punch of a sort but it clearly wasn't. Blood. His all time favorite drink. Jakob took a sip of his refreshing beverage before glancing upward toward the Ravenclaw table where she would be at. His dark gaze went through each stupid eagle at the table until he was positive his 'sister' wasn't there. Where was she? Late to breakfast as usual? Rolling his eyes, Jake sat there, eating slowly, waiting for Unity, the girl he had been thinking of all morning to arrive. Though part of the eagle clan down yonder, she tended to sit across from him in the mornings despite the constant looks she received from both houses. Jake didn't care. He preferred her sitting across from him, he liked having her in his company especially in the morning. She gave him a strength that he dared to never reveal to anyone including her. He needed her more than he ever thought and he hated being so dependent on her. Another bite of his toast and he continued waiting for her, waiting for the best part of his day.

I'M BRUISED AND SCARRED save me from this broken heartALL MY LOVE WILL SLOWLY FADE & F A L L A P A R T• • • • • Mornings were of course not Unitys thing. Alright so sometimes it was nice for a change to roll out at the brink of day or to roll out just in time for breakfast. Like normal, snooze was on. Uni couldn't resist but enjoy every moment she shared in her bed. Nice and cosey without a care in the world. Sometimes she didn't even bother getting up. She just conjured her share of blood whilst she was peckish and spent the day out of class doing what she wanted. Ok so it was wierd for a ravenclaw, but she was more slytherin at heart. It was only her mind that was the ravenclaw side of things. She didn't mind the ravenclaws however. She wasn't house picky to be honest. She found no point in house rivalries, they were all people after all. Instead she took pride in teasing werewolves instead. It was much more fun to provoke filthylittle mutts into attacking you. That was when the fun began. Starting fights with werewolves was sort of more of a hobby to cure her boredom - it worked too up to the point they either caught her or she had to run off because things could sometimes get too dangerous. Either way it was fun none the less. Unity Grimm lay soundly in her bed, before rolling over and landing on the floor. Jerking awake. Yeah it happened far too often that accidents happened to her. She groaned crawling back up, though it was just one of those days where she was awake, she couldn't sleep now.
She sighed dragging clothes out, though she wasn't really in the mood to attend classes today she believed she'd skived enough the year before - it was starting to get fishy. Her daily clothing of course included a short white blouse, a short skirt to match, a black vest top and a ravenclaw tie and the robes on top. Though half the time she ditched the robes. She was known to be a little more revealing in what she wore. She didn't find it a bad thing - she always got whistled on by boys of all ages - typically the older boys. It didn't help that vampiric blood gave good looks all round. She liked to flaunt what she had. It was better to take advantage of what you have got rather than to sit and mope about being bitten by a boy she'd known for.. what a week? Even if she had been crushing on him, it didn't mean she'd wanted to have stuck with him forever. Now all there was was tension - they had to play brother and sister. But she didn't hold a grudge, she didn't regret it. She was happy he hadn't bitten her and then deserted her. As far as she was aware it hadn't been his choice to bite her. Yakov had ordered it. And the Grimms knew better than to go against and order. She decided to leave her hair down for the day. What the hell! Why not. She couldn't be bothered perfecting it. She could spend hours making sure there wasn't a hair out of place but today she felt like just brushing through and tidying it up. Either way it worked.
Before she knew it she was rushing down to the great hall knowing once again she was late to meet up with her so called brother, Jakob. She did it nearly every day - and it was a miracle if she arrived on time. She rounded a corner, ingorantly pushing through a bunch of second year girls that were gossiping about scorpius malfoy. She couldn't help the eye roll. He wasn't that good looking now was he? She didn't really care much for any of the malfoys. She went by not really getting involved with any family but her own. Ok maybe she was working her way through the boys at school but she always made sure not to get herself into some sticky situation with dangerous boys. Besides half the purebloods were only into purebloods. Vampires were of course tainted. She rounded another corner- arriving just outside the great hall. She took a moment too peak in, almost grinning at the site of Jakob. Every day she sat opposite him. She skipped down, dropping like always in the same seat she'd sat for the past six years she'd spent at hogwarts. She smirked over at him. "I think i need a bigger bed" she began, referring to her little accident that had woken up her day.

The toast was drier than normal that day and so was the ham matter of fact. Jakob made a face, hating the breakfast he had chosen. Perhaps he should've just gotten something else to eat but he didn't feel like using so much effort. Instead, he nibbled the ham, stopped eating the toast, and began on his waffles, taking sips of blood in between bites. It wasn't the food that ever filled him up but the blood that he drank. Jakob personally hated eating, it was too heavy whereas drinking blood was a much lighter choice of sating his hunger. However, his body had lived too long with food so in order to satisfy it and his own actual hunger, Jake tended to eat small proportionate meals at least twice a day. Of course, breakfast would be one of those meals since it was considered his and Unity's meeting for the day. They met up at other places and other times, of course, but breakfast was the traditional one. They had done it since their first year and Jakob almost had to have the meeting or else his day would go to shit and he wouldn't be able to function properly. Then again, that was probably his crush on his sister talking.
His jaw clenched lightly as he tried dodging the beginning of his crush taking over his head, his fork having been stabbed into the waffles a bit more forceful than it normally would. The tension in his jaw relaxed however when a particular wave of smells flew his way. Unity. He could smell her from a mile away if he concentrated hard enough but the sudden smack of lavender told him that she was here. He dropped his fork neatly on the side of his plate then glanced up, a gentle smile tugging at the corners of his lips. Every time he saw her he got those strong feelings of when they had first met some two hundred or so years ago. Why did they have to look alike? Perhaps then they wouldn't have been made to be brother and sister and he could've been with her. Jake shook his head. No way would he be planning on how his undead life would be had their father had some sort of heart. This wasn't him. He wasn't supposed to give two shits about anyone but he did. Breathing slowly, he tried controlling his thoughts, watching her curiously as the first words out of her mouth weren't 'good morning' or 'hello' but instead something about her bed needing to be bigger.
Smirking gently to himself, the sixth year vampire grabbed ahold of his goblet, drank some then set it down gently before replying, "Why hello to you too...and why would your bed need to be bigger? You couldn't possibly have outgrown a four poster bed..." He rose an eyebrow at her questionably, unsure as to why she really needed a bigger bed. Jake blinked at her, trying hard to not be distracted by her flow of gorgeous hair. "Did you try using the Engorgio spell and see how far that took you? Or did you not think about it since you rushed down here yet again." Jake could be a bitch toward her mainly because she acted like a sister would and that wasn't how he wanted her to act. Frustration rolled off of him in waves as he sat there, trying his best to remain calm and collected. Unity did this to him whether she knew it or not. She had the most impact on what he did or how he felt and he hated that to the core. He wanted to be in control of his emotions and not the girl who acted like a sister but he wanted her as something else.

I'M BRUISED AND SCARRED save me from this broken heartALL MY LOVE WILL SLOWLY FADE & F A L L A P A R T• • • • • Unitys hands automatically went for her own goblet of blood that was set just perfectly before her. Filled to the brim of blood it was almost perfect for her breakfast. She didn't politely take a small sip instead she was gulping it down. She wasn't one for acting posh and polite unless it was at home. She drank half, gulping it down as she took a quick glance at jakob. He somehow always seemed so tense around her - she used to think nothing of it.... but today? Well she took a few moments to gaze at his actions to pinpoint the actual problem. She couldn't figuire it out. He'd nonchalantly stabbed at his waffles since they looked like they'd been through some horror movie, and yet the fork was placed neatly onto his plate. Of course she had been late. She was always late -whether it was a date, breakfast, trip to hogsmeade. It didn't matter - even vampire speed didn't help. The vampiric ravenclaw simply lost track of time far too often and when she finally remembered she was either just in time - or far too late. She placed the goblet perfectly back onto the table before gazing over the luxuries before her. Her eyes gazed at the beans and she pulled her usual face before picking the bowl up and throwing it over at some boy at the gryffindor table.
She shuddered at the sight of the bright orange round things. Ick. Ever since she could remember she'd despised those little orange baked beans, and almost every morning they sat in the same place for her to throw at unsuspecting pupils. She met back at Jakobs gaze, catching his smirk and smirking back. "Why hello to you too...and why would your bed need to be bigger? You couldn't possibly have outgrown a four poster bed..." she gave him a short shrug before picking up her own piece of toast and biting into it. Her blue orbs continued to examine him. "Because my bed seems to have this thing of letting me fall out of it every morning. I figure if i can make a bigger bed then i'd get to spend many more luxurious hours all wrapped up in my quilt" she zoned out for a moment. Bed sounded perfect right now - perhaps midday she'd go and take a nice long nap. Uni loved her sleep too much to miss out on chances to just lounge about and basically be lazy. She was probably one of the most laziest vampires at hogwarts - lucky for her she passed all her exams without an effort.
"Did you try using the Engorgio spell and see how far that took you? Or did you not think about it since you rushed down here yet again." She glanced down at her toast, loosing her appetite after a short reminder of the beans. She dropped it to her plate before rubbing the crums off her hands and placing them neatly in her lap. "Of course i tried that, what do i look like .... stupid?" she lied - but like always she couldn't lie to the boy she'd known for so long and laughed it off. "Ok so i didn't. As for rushing. I don't rush." she replied before pausing for a moment. "Im fashionably late" she gave a small nod before smiling. "So whats got your panties in a twist mister im going to be an arsehole today
[/b]" she added with a cheeky grin before returning back to her goblet of blood.
