The moon hadn't fully risen yet, but even now Váli could feel the affects it had on him. The drives to hunt, how, run, and fight were becoming almost unbearable and then add to the fact his genetics didn't help in the matter. Fenrir was legendary of practically being a crazed Werewolf 24/7, so it should be easily understood his offspring would inherit the more animalistic nature as well. That was the part of his soul Váli tried to keep hidden and caged.
It scared him as much as it would others who knew of his origins. The ravenclaw wasn't as much a control freak as his elder brother, but it was a nightmare to him to lose control of himself. It had happened before when he was 9..Never again did he want to see that much pain, blood, and destruction.
So, just to be safe, the young Greyback had spent most of his day in the forest, tracking and roaming the territory they had claimed for themselves, making sure it was free of any possible intruders.
But now it was dark as he found himself on the far edge of the thickly treed terrain. The scents of nocturnal creatures starting to rustle entered his highly acute nose as he gave a final look around. It was time to head back and meet the others...though as soon as he turned away, footsteps sounded just beside him...

Night time, the one time the black haired slytherin knew could fully shield her and allow her to go out and play in the forest with out worry of the teachers. As far as she knew no teacher besides the care of magical creatures professor dared to go into the forest, and if they did dare they didn't go in to far. Her light grey-blue eyes flicked up to the sky, the moon hadn't reached it's normal spot but she could see that it was a full moon. her mother had warned her and the other siblings to stay inside for full moons this year, but as far as she was concerned what her mother didn't know wouldn't hurt her.
Her mother had had an affair, but wouldn't tell the children anything about it, she was sure when they got home for the summer the parents would be split up. Not that it bothered her, she wouldn't stay at home for long anyway. She had a dream she had to fulfill. she didn't know what possessed her mother to tell them about this now, but now the thought was stuck in her head, she had a step-sibling, and they were out there, she wondered who it was that she shared some of her blood with.
Then darkness fell, she blinked coming back into the harsh reality that she was now deep in the woods, alone. She moved through the trees and looked around, her wand in her back pocket, to where her hand was now clenching the handle, her black hair moving into her face every now and then, she had never really been in the forest alone during a full moon before, but it didn't matter, she walked out to where the trees opened up a little, and looked around. It was ungodly silent, she shivered lightly and slinked back a little, turning to move through the trees again, this time it was back towards the school grounds, but as she came back to the cover of the trees, there someone was. Or perhaps something, she couldn't see them, due to the fact she wasn't facing them now.
Like in all horror situations she did the cliche thing. "H-Hello?" she said turning to face the sound. She knew she shouldn't have that she should have kept going, but her curiosity peeked and she wanted to see what was bumping around in the dark with her.
