- - - - - -OPEN THREAD FOR ANYONE! • OPEN THREAD FOR ANYONE! Vasilisa Lillith Dashkov-Greyback was seventeen, a werewolf, a Slytherin. She was the eldest daughter of the most famous and feared werewolf that there could be; Fenrir Greyback. So, being his daughter she was cursed with the same curse that Fenrir considered a blessing. Sure, being a werewolf had its benefits, but it was still a curse; one she had no choice in having. It was genetic afterall. Another similarity Vasilisa had with her father was that she was in Slytherin. She was a dark sort of girl ... whether it was genetic, her past or just who she was that created such a dark side. She knew it, understood it and accepted it. It was who she was. But Lissa never let people compare her to her father. She hated that man and yet hate didn't seem a strong enough word. She hated having the same flesh and blood as the man who was the nightmares of her childhood.
The terrors of her childhood had left many different scars. She'd been bruised and cut, but all those had cured over time. There were, however, certain scars that had never healed and probably never would. There were two scars in particular. One; the physical scar, was the three claw marks that trailed down the right shoulder. She was nine when she had been attacked, but the scars always looked as though it had only been a few months previous. The other scar was more inside; emotionally and mentally. That scar was more of a personal issue, one that only one other person, not including her and her father who were involved, knew about. It wasn't exactly a topic that she talked about, it had been bad enough bringing it up once already. It was definitely something that tortured her to think about. But Lissa was good at keeping it all bottled up, no matter how bad it was to do so. Well, she had to be pretty good at hiding things, none of her siblings from Fenrir's side even knew what the cause of her nightmares was; she had convinced them all it was just the constant painful beatings.
Lissa casually made her way up the steps of the North Tower. She had a black robe over her plaid green skirt and grey shirt. It was silent, except for the click clack of her shoes as she walked up to stone steps. She sighed, making her way to the top and looking around. No one else was up here. That wasn't totally good. Lissa was bored, she actually wanted someone to hang out with. Obviously, she wasn't getting any company while she was up in the North Tower. That's probably what to expect coming to a tower after all. But Lissa couldn't be bothered walking all the way down those steps again, she'd only just come up here. She shrugged it off, moving over to the ledge and leaning against the railing. She looked around again, for no apparent reason. No one to flirt with, no one to just even talk to.

Evangeline Katie Wood absolutely loved Hogwarts, it was her home. This place was really where her life had started. Here she made friends, she got a spot on the Quidditch team, this was the life. So, it was quite a depressing thought for Evie to think about a life after Hogwarts. She didn't know what she wanted to do with her future. Perhaps she could follow in her dad's footsteps and try to make it onto a professional Quidditch team. Though she doubted she was good enough to be on any of those teams. Of course most people told her otherwise. Evie was basically born on a broom, the girl could fly like no other and of course with a dad like Oliver, Quidditch was simply in her blood and Evie was definitely a daddy's girl. He always taught her tricks, yapped on about the strategic moves. Now Evie did love Quidditch, but she was nowhere near as obsessed as her father was. She was competitive, yes. But most of all she was passionate, she loved the sport, the game.
Evie wasn't sure whether she wanted her game to become her actual job. Sounded like heaven alright. But what if she got bored of it, she wanted Quidditch to be fun. Evangeline had no idea what else she would do though. She wasn't clever enough to become a teacher, nor did she want to stand in front of a classroom all day. Being a healer wasn't exactly her thing either, blood she could handle.. seeing someone's insides, on their outside.. not so much. With a sigh, she shook her thoughts about her future out of her mind, as she got up from her bed, straightening out her shirt and running a hand through her hair, she quickly made her way out of her dorm. The common room was rather crowded, like always, some first years were sitting in a corner, all studying and talking quietly among themselves. The couches were all taken by the students in higher years, like usual. She slightly shook her head with a smile, nothing had changed.
Making her way out of the common room, she gave a slight wave as someone called her name. Her shoes making a soft noise on the floor, as she made her way up the staircase. Evangeline knew exactly where she was going, the North tower. It was one of her favorite places, it was usually quiet, it had a gorgeous view.. was there anything not to like? With a smile, she finally reached the top of the stairs, as she walked in, she was surprised to find that she actually wasn't the only one who had been having this idea. The person was none other than Vasilisa Greyback, she was in the same year as her. The two never really got along, until they were forced to work together for a potions project. It brought them closer, the girl still bugged her sometimes though. Must be the old Slytherin/Gryffindor rivalry. She quietly took a few steps closer, leaning herself against a nearby wall. "Surprised to see you here." she spoke. "I would have thought the outdoors were more your place around this time." she added, not meaning it as an insult, in fact, she was happy that there was someone she could talk to. It definitely beat being alone, letting her thoughts get to her.

- - - - - -EVANGELINE KATE WOOD! • LET THE STORY BEGIN Back when Vasilisa had lived with Fenrir, life definitely had its downs, but it also had its ups. The downs were obvious, although there were certain downs that no one knew about. But the biggest up had been that it was living with Fenrir that she met Tyr, Caaden and Vali. Her half-brothers had always meant so much to her, especially when she was living with them and their ... oh-so-totally-lovable father. They had been her light in all the darkness that living there had been. She attached herself to them as much as she could ... but of course, they probably didn't want her around at times. They had never said it to her, and if they had she couldn't remember, but she had felt that was how it was, so she would try just distancing herself from the whole thing altogether. If she didn't feel so safe whenever her brothers were around, she would have tried running off. But it wasn't going to been easy for a child around the age of nine or ten to be roaming wherever it was they were at the time and try to go back to Russia. It was all just too hard, so that kept her around as well.
The sound of movements on the stairs alerted Vasilisa that someone was coming. Finally she thought. The scent wasn't familiar. But then again, she'd been away from Hogwarts so most people's scents would have completely faded and become unrecognizable. Oh well, she was going to find out the human way of who it was. By the sounds of the shoes as they walked up the stairs, it was female. As she reached the top, Vasilisa didn't react straight away. She continued to lean against the railing, looking out at the grounds. The scent grew stronger and the girl came closer. It was only when she spoke that Lissa turned her head and looked at her. Evangeline Wood. Not exactly the kind of company she had in mind, but still company none-the-less. She tilted her head before smirking. "Well, this is almost outdoors ... does that count?" she asked. She looked out at the grounds. "What brings you here?" she then asked, looking back at her.
Vasilisa and Evangeline's relationship was definitely different to how it used to be. They were in different houses and didn't exactly like each other too much at first. They'd constantly tormented each other and were at each other's necks about things. It wasn't in a joking way like it was for Lissa and Jacob; it had been the real thing. Then, they had been paired together for a potions project; forced to work together. At first, there had been a lot of bickering and arguing but nothing physically or magical. It was all just verbal. After a while working on their project, they eventually started to get along ... somehow. Lissa never really understood what it was. She remembered a lot of tension between them ... but they'd been in the library and not really paying attention on working on their project. Something had happened that they agreed on, and they found themselves laughing together at it. It was from then the tension started to fade and the tormenting became more of a joking matter. But it was all a slow process, and even now it was still working very slowly. Lissa wasn't sure where it was going to lead ... whether they'd end up good friends or not.
